Entry #2. Maintaining a Work-life Balance

       Trying to have a good work-life balance can feel so overwhelming sometimes. Between school, responsibilities at home, and preparing for the future, it can feel like there's always something that needs your attention. When everything starts piling on you, it's very easy to feel stressed. Most of the time, instead of taking a break, we either try even harder or just give up completely. Both are very bad options. The best thing to do is to just. Take. A. Break. Finding a balance between responsibilities and actually living your life is more important than it seems.       Growing up, I always felt like I needed to stay busy. I thought being productive all the time was the best method. At first, I didn't really notice haw tired I was getting. I would jump from one thing to another and rarely take time for a break. Entry #1. Trailblazing and Having a Good Time

  Hello everyone, my name is Ian Segura, and I wanted to share a little about my love for hiking. As the youngest of six kids, I've always had people to look up to, especially my older brother. As I grew up, I wanted to try things he enjoyed, one of which was hiking. At first, my goal was just trying to keep up and not embarrass myself. But over time, it turned into a way to relieve stress and became something I genuinely loved doing.                                 Image Source   The more I went on hikes, the more I started to appreciate everything that came from them. I was always used to be stuck to my computer screen, so being outside, away from noise and social media, gave me time to actually think. Even when the trail got steep or my legs got really sore, there was something really satisfying about pushing through it. Plus, the views during the hike made it all worth it.   Original Photo...
